WINGS Educational Foundation is pleased to offer annual opportunities for teachers to acquire grants to enhance the student learning experiences in their classrooms.
WINGS also gives scholarships to deserving seniors, recognizing their accomplishments and future pursuit of their continuing education.
In addition, WINGS recognizes a teacher each year by presenting the School District of Washington Teacher of the Year award. WINGS also is pleased to recognize the efforts of support staff employees by giving an annual Support Staff Person of the Year.
This school year (2020-21), it was literally impossible to even think about a singular recognition. Instead, WINGS is naming all certified staff and non-certified support staff as SDOW Employees of the Year. The work the entire staff has done during a global pandemic does not go unnoticed. WINGS appreciates the staff’s adaptability and resilience during this very difficult year.
As a token of WINGS’ appreciation, all 657 employees of the School District of Washington are receiving a gift of $20 from WINGS.
