Washington High School Student Mia Narup Attends Sophomore Pilgrimage to the Capitol

Mia NarupWashington High School student Mia Narup took part in the Sophomore Pilgrimage to the Capitol on Tuesday, April 12, in Jefferson City. This is sponsored annually by General Federation of Women's Clubs of Missouri.

The purpose of the pilgrimage is to give recognition to high school sophomores who exemplify high standards of honor, courage, citizenship, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Students selected to attend met Missouri State elected officials, toured the capitol, Supreme Court, and Missouri Veterans Memorial. They also had a meeting with Judge Robin Ranson.

Mia is the daughter of Steve and Margrette Narup. She’s a member of National Honor Society, Interact, and is president of the Spanish Club.
