Washington High School Students Participate in AAPPL World Language Exam

WHS Students World Language ExamWashington High School students participated in theAAPPL Exam (ACTFL Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages) this spring for the third year.

The test allows students to demonstrate progress they have made in acquiring proficiency in a second language.

The exam includes elements of the four domains of second-language learning: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students who achieve the “Intermediate-Mid (I3)” level in all four areas may earn the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy and college credit at select universities within Missouri.

WHS students who participated in the AAPPL exam during the spring 2022 semester were Caleb Dieckhaus, Cameron Meyer, Jacob Neely, Octavio Meza, Jason Wood, Jagger Wood, Abi Waters, Samantha Whitworth, Elena Roewe, McKenzie Whelan, Carly Hamlyn and Lizbeth Suazo.
