South Point Elementary Hosts Kindergarten Celebration

South Point Elementary School held its Kindergarten Celebration on Tuesday, May 17.

Students in all three kindergarten classrooms at South Point participated in a musical performance involving a number of songs under the direction of music teacher Maggie Butler.

The name of the program was entitled, “Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes.”

Following the musical performance, each student received a certificate for completing kindergarten, which were presented by South Point Elementary Principal Aimee Harty and kindergarten teachers Shannon Banderman, Stephanie Knight and Jamie Scoles.

A large crowd was on hand to watch the kindergarten program in the South Point Elementary gymnasium.
