SDOW Veterans Day ProgramsWith Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, buildings in the School District of Washington have scheduled Veterans Day programs.

Washington High School

Washington High School’s annual Veterans Day Assembly will be on Friday, November 11, at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Jay Gymnasium.

The featured speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Brian Patterson, United States Army.

Breakfast will be served for all Veterans from 7:15-8:15 a.m. in the band room (Northington Lobby Entrance).

RSVP to Michelle at 636-231-2200 is appreciated, but not required.

Washington Middle School

Washington Middle School will not have an assembly, but instead has invited all WMS family Veterans to school on Thursday, November, 10 for coffee and donuts from 8:45-9 a.m. Following breakfast, from 9-10 a.m., WMS students will work on their interpersonal skills by visiting with the Veterans, asking them questions about their service. Veterans who are family members of a WMS student can reserve a spot by contacting Assistant Principal Stacey Secor at [email protected]. Please include the name of your student at the middle school.

November 9 – Clearview Elementary – 8 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 7:20 a.m.

November 9 – Marthasville Elementary – 9 a.m.

November 10 – Washington Middle School - Coffee and donuts from 8:45-9 a.m. Veterans will visit with students from 9-10 a.m.

November 11 – South Point Elementary – 8:15 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 7:30 a.m.

November 11 – Labadie Elementary – 8:30 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 8 a.m.

November 11 – Campbellton Elementary – 9 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 8 a.m.

November 11 – Augusta Elementary – 9 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans at 8:30 a.m.

November 11 – Washington West Elementary – 11 a.m.

November 11 – Washington High School – 8:30 a.m., Breakfast for Veterans from 7:15-8:15 a.m. in the band room.
