Washington High School soccer player Presley Kiser is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Kiser, a junior forward, scored two goals to help the Lady Jays open their season with three wins at the Warrenton Tournament to claim the title.
“Presley helps create opportunities in the attack and has the ability to quickly transition to defense, turning away and shutting down our opponents’ offensive efforts,” said Washington Head Soccer Coach Jalynda Vodnansky. “Presley is one of our hardest, most consistent workers. She shows up to practice both mentally and physically and pushes her teammates to match her effort and work rate.”
