Washington High School Homecoming
Washington High School Homecoming Week took place September 23-28.
This year’s Homecoming theme was “Under the Sea.”
Homecoming week included spirit days, powder puff football (The Seniors defeated the Juniors 42-32), the varsity football game against Ft. Zumwalt South, won by the Blue Jays 38-14, and the dance.
The Homecoming parade was canceled due to rain.
The Homecoming Court winners were as follows:
Second Runners Up - Kaya Otto and Brock Thompson.
First Runners Up -Emily McCormack and Landen Kriete.
Queen and King - Presley Kiser and Dylan Boland.
Approximately 800 students attended the Homecoming dance on Saturday night, September 28.
WHS Leadership students on the Homecoming Committee were as follows:
Dance - Olivia Jensen and Makaylynn Ray.
Court- Alina Hayden and Maddie Kluesner.
Parade - Ben Loesing and Aiden Hopfensperger.
