Employee Awards

The WINGS Foundation Award for Educational Excellence is presented annually to an outstanding educator within the School District of Washington. The recipient receives a plaque and $1,000.

The WINGS Foundation Award for Outstanding Service is presented annually to honor a support staff employee of the School District of Washington. The recipient receives a plaque and $1,000.

Scholarships

The WINGS Foundation provides financial assistance each year through student and teacher scholarships.

The Sarah Stoenner Alsop WINGS Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Licensed Practical Nursing student at the Four Rivers Career Center in the amount of $1,000.

WINGS Educational Foundation awards scholarships each year funded by the WINGS Washington Alumni Scholarships and the WINGS Foundation.

Staff Recognition

In conjunction with Teacher Appreciation Week held the first week of May, parents and community members now have the opportunity to recognize a School District of Washington staff member who has made an impact. These staff members are recognized by receiving a visit from a WINGS Board member delivering flowers and a card from there admirer.
