Lumen Parent Portal Information

The School District of Washington utilizes the Lumen Student Information System Parent/Student Portal. This online system enables parents to access attendance information, course schedules, grades, and lunch account information for students within our district. Parent/Student Portal is a free component of our student information system.

In order to use the Parent/Student Portal, the district must have your current email address in our student database. Please complete the Parent Portal Agreement Form linked below. It is only necessary to complete the form once, even if you have multiple children in our district. Please note: Only parents/guardians who are considered "Educational decision-makers" can be granted access to the Parent Portal. Federal Privacy Laws (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act - FERPA) prevents us from granting access to non-educational decision-makers, and NO EXCEPTIONS can be made to this policy.

Once we have entered your information into our system, you will receive a username and password via email from lumen.system@sdowmo.org for each student you list on the form. For example, if you list three students on the form, you will receive three emails with three separate logins. Once you receive these logins, you will be able to combine your students under one of those logins. Directions on how to do this are included in the email with the login credentials. Please allow three to five business days to receive your information. After you have received your login information, you will be able to access the Parent/Student portal. Please keep your username and password on file and confidential. We cannot issue passwords via phone. Your username and password email document will also include directions on how to utilize the portal. Please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your request.

If your account is locked due to inactivity, you don't know your username, or if you need to set up a new Parent Portal account, please complete the Parent Portal Request Form below. As mentioned above, this can take 3 to 5 business days to complete on our end. That timeframe can be extended during times of high demand (ex., the beginning of the school year, end of each marking period, etc...).
