House Bill 1606 Reporting
The District’s actual income and expenditure report as well as detailed invoice registers can be found under the Financial Report section of the monthly board meetings. Click here for the BoardDocs web page.
2023 Audit Report
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requires all public school districts to submit a biennial audit report. The School District of Washington received an unmodified opinion - the highest award afforded on an audit. An unmodified opinion means a district is following all generally accepted accounting principles and properly disclosing information in financial statements. The Board of Education approved the audit report during its December 2023 meeting.
The 2023 audit report, performed by Kerber Eck & Braeckel, LLP, is available for review within the 2023 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which is located on the 'Reports' page of the Business Services website.
