Washington High School golfer Abby Blackwell is the KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week.

Blackwell, a junior, earned all-state honors at the MSHSAA Class 3 Championships at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield by finishing tied for 10^th place with a 36-hole total of 162, leading the Blue Jays to a third-place team finish.

Blackwell was the GAC North Central Player of the Year, leading Washington to its second straight conference title. She placed third in the Class 3 District 1 Tournament at Wolf Hollow with an 18-hole round of 79.
