Registration Open to Fifth- and Sixth-Grade Students for Math Madness
Washington High School’s Mu Alpha Theta is hosting Math Madness, a math competition for fifth- and sixth-grade students, in the CJB Theater at Washington High School on Thursday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m.
The event will allow students to compete against other teams of two to four students from other elementary schools. There will be prizes awarded to best decorated student table, the top three highest scoring fifth- and sixth-grade teams, and a prize for an individual student who can recite the most decimal places of Pi.
The cost for each player is $5. All proceeds go to Relay for Life. This is not a drop-off event. There needs to be at least one parent present for each team.
There is no food allowed in the competition area. Water bottles will be allowed in the CJB.
