Washington High School wrestler Maggie Ortmann is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Ortmann, a senior and two-time state qualifier who finished second at 155 pounds in Class 2 last season, is having another big season. She went 4-0, pinning two returning state medalists, to claim the Seckman Tournament title.

Ortmann, who is 37-2 on the season, currently is second in career wins in Washington girls wrestling history with 154, just six away from setting a new school record.
