Washington High School girls basketball player Hannah Obermark is the KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week.

Obermark, a 5-11 senior forward, is averaging 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season for the Lady Jays. 

During the Borgia Tournament, Obermark recorded a double double in the consolation game against Borgia, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds. She added 10 points in the opening round against Parkway South and 17 points against Riverview Gardens in a consolation semifinal victory.

Obermark has been named to the All-Tournament Teams at Union and Borgia this season.

“Hannah has been an instrumental part of our program’s success over the last three years,” said Washington Head Girls Basketball Coach Adam Meyer. “What sets Hannah apart is her positive attitude. She comes to practice every day and never takes a play off. She leads by example.”
