WHS Softball Player Grace Molitor Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School softball player Grace Molitor is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.
Molitor, a senior, ended her WHS softball career with many records, including most career home runs with 30.
During her senior season, she had a batting average of .429 with nine home runs, 38 RBIs, 43 runs, 17 stolen bases, an on-base percentage of .523 and a slugging percentage of .879, all while playing stellar defense at shortstop.
During her career, Molitor helped Washington softball win four GAC Central titles, three district crowns and two state championships. She is expected to transfer at the semester break to Arizona State University and continue her softball career there, according to Washington Softball Coach Grant Young.
