South Point Elementary Students Make Presentations to Assisted Living Residents
As part of a service learning project, fifth-grade students at South Point Elementary recently presented projects they crafted, highlighting and honoring the lives of some residents at South Pointe Assisted Living.
Representatives from South Pointe Assisted Living were on hand at South Point Elementary to see the projects and to present holiday goodie bags that residents and staff put together for the fifth-grade students.
“We at South Point Elementary have a special partnership with South Point Assisted Living. They are locate just down the road from us,” said South Point Elementary Assistant Principal Stefanie Virgen. “Our fifth-grade students did a wonderful job with this project in honoring residents of South Pointe Assisted Living.”
