Clemco Makes Donation to Four Rivers Career Center's Engineering Program
Clemco Industries Corporation in Washington recently presented the Four Rivers Career Center’s engineering program a check for $10,000.
Engineering instructor Nick Straatmann and his students received the donation during a tour of Clemco’s facility in the Washington industrial park.
Clemco consistently provides support for local STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs through financial donations and events.
Last year's Clemco donation to the engineering program was used to purchase a CNC mill, which the Career Center’s engineering students have already put to use in the classroom in an automated fabrication project.
