FRCC Collision Repair Students Paint Boat to Support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Four Rivers Career Center Collision Repair students recently completed a special project that helps support a meaningful cause. Students in the program painted a boat as part of an annual fundraiser benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Each year, the painted boat is featured in connection with a local St. Jude Poker Run event, where participants travel by boat to various checkpoints to collect playing cards throughout the day. As part of the fundraiser, donations are collected for the custom paint job, with the proceeds going to St. Jude to support its mission of treating children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
The project gives students valuable hands-on experience in automotive painting and refinishing while allowing them to use their skills to give back to the community. Through their work, Four Rivers Career Center students help support a cause that impacts families across the country.
