School District of Washington Hosts Transition Fair on Thursday, October 24
The School District of Washington will host a Transition Fair on Thursday, October 24, at Washington High School’s west wing collaboration space from 3-7 p.m.
The Transition Fair is a chance for individuals with disabilities to get help and support as they navigate the world from school and beyond. Students and families from all grade levels are welcome to attend.
Among the groups attending the Transition Fair are:
*Dan Leslie: Guardianship Attorney (will attend from 4-6 p.m.).
*Rainbow Ability Center: Day Habilitation
*Empac, Inc: Employment Services
*Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor: Jennifer Mueller
*University of Missouri Pre-Employment Transition Services: Laura Curran
*Bethel Hills: Supported Recreation/Living
*Exceptional Equestrians: Equine Therapy
*Warren County Pathfinders: Day Program, Employment Services, Social/Recreation
*University of Central Missouri – Thrive Program
*Ability/Life Ops: Residential, Early Intervention Supports
*SB-40 Franklin and Warren Counties: Service Coordination
*Missouri Parents Act (MPACT): Parent Training and Information Center.
