Two individuals filed for two open seats on the School District of Washington’s Board of Education, meaning there will not be a school board election on April 8.

Incumbents Kelly Brinkmann and Dr. Frank Wood both filed for the Board, which closed on Tuesday, December 31.

Brinkmann and Wood both are completing their first term on the board after first being elected in 2022. 

Brinkmann and Wood will be sworn into office during the Board’s re-organization meeting on April 11. Board members serve three-year terms.
