South Point Elementary held its Kindergarten Celebration on Monday, April 28.

Students in all three kindergarten classrooms at South Point participated in the festivities in front of a packed gymnasium.

Kindergarten students presented a musical performance involving a number of songs under the direction of South Point Elementary music teacher Maggie Butler.

The name of the program was entitled, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”

Following the musical performance, each student received a certificate for completing kindergarten, which were presented by South Point Elementary Principal Stacey Secor and kindergarten teachers Stephanie Knight, Jamie Banze and Kelly Stone.
