Board of Education: Leslie, Hagedorn, Menefee Sworn In; Wood Elected President
The School District of Washington’s Board of Education held a reorganization meeting on Friday morning, April 10, at the District Office.
Incumbent Dan Leslie was sworn into office for his third term. Newcomers Morgan “Mo” Hagedorn and Emma Menefee were sworn in for their first term. Board members are elected to three-year terms.
The seven board members nominated and voted on the officers. Dr. Frank Wood was elected as the new Board President. Kelly Brinkmann was elected Board Vice President. Other members of the Board of Education are Kevin Blackburn and John Freitag.
Kelly Clark is the secretary to the Board and the custodian of records. Robin Kluesner is the Board treasurer.
