“We play a very tough schedule in one of the toughest conferences in the state. Our girls show up and battle every game. We've beaten Union twice this season, which has been a fun accomplishment since Union has been a tough team to beat for the past several years,” said Washington Head Coach Jalynda Vodnansky. “We have a lot of talent on this team. We've been inconsistent with how we've played and also have struggled with low numbers and injuries. The girls come out and play hard and have fun while doing that. At the end of the day, you consider that a win. All four seniors are committed to play soccer after high school, which is a great accomplishment for those girls.
“Ellie Sneed and Destiny Highley will attend and play at East Central College. Kloey O'Connell with attend and play at Truman State University. Sammy Williams will attend and play at SIUE (Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville).
