Four Rivers Career Center Hosts Inaugural Career Fair
Four Rivers Career Center welcomed more than 60 businesses, colleges, trade schools, and community organizations for its inaugural Career Fair on Friday, April 17, providing students with valuable opportunities to explore future career and education pathways.
Held throughout the day, the event allowed both morning and afternoon students to visit with representatives from a wide range of industries and organizations. Students were able to ask questions, learn more about career opportunities, gather information about training programs, and make connections with potential future employers.
The Career Fair aligned with the School District of Washington’s Connect Washington initiative, which provides students with meaningful career exploration opportunities while helping strengthen the local workforce pipeline for business and community partners.
“This was an outstanding opportunity for our students to interact directly with professionals from many different fields,” said FRCC Director Philip King. “We are grateful to all of the businesses, schools, and organizations that participated and helped our students gain valuable insight into future opportunities. Events like this help students see the many pathways available to them after graduation.”
The event highlighted the strong partnerships between Four Rivers Career Center and the surrounding community while reinforcing the district’s commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers, and life.
