Washington High School basketball player Jacob Bina is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Bina, a 6-2 senior forward, had one of his best games of the season in the district tournament against Lutheran South, scoring 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds. He played a major role in the team’s success this season as the Blue Jays finished with an 18-9 record.
