This award was established to honor student councils that have a comprehensive program that promotes student activities and student leadership. The Honor Council Award is the highest honor that Missouri Association of Student Councils bestows upon one of its members.
Such requirements include Leadership training for students, attendance and leading presentations at state and local Student Council conventions, staff appreciation events, student recognition activities, school service projects, community service projects, and school spirit initiatives.
Colin Briggs and Ethan Pier were also given the award of Distinguished Student Leader.
MASC Distinguished Student Leader is a program sponsored by the Missouri Association of Student Councils. It has been created to motivate and challenge student leaders to extend their leadership skills and activities and to confer Missouri recognition upon those students who demonstrate superior student council leadership skills and knowledge, based on MASC criteria and evaluation procedures.
