Morgan Hagedorn, Dan Leslie, Emma Menefee Win Seats on Board of Education
Incumbent Dan Leslie and newcomers Morgan “Mo” Hagedorn and Emma Menefee won seats on the School District of Washington’s Board of Education from the Tuesday, April 7, election.
There were three open seats on the Board of Education and six candidates on the ballot. Also on the ballot were incumbent Rob Horvath and newcomers Dr. Kirstie Holtermann and Heather Johnson. Voters selected up to three candidates.
Leslie will begin his third term on the Board. Hagedorn and Menefee will begin their first terms. They will be sworn in during the Board of Education’s reorganizational meeting on Friday, April 10, at 7:30 a.m. at the SDOW’s Board of Education building.
