Golf Blue Jays Place First and Second at GAC Central Tournament; Finish Second in Team Standings

The Washington High School boys golf squad hosted the GAC Central Tournament at Wolf Hollow Golf Club on Tuesday, April 28, placing first and second in the individual standings.
The varsity Blue Jays took second place in the conference tournament, losing out by one shot.
Owen Zastrow led Washington at the conference tournament with a first-place finish with an 18-hole round of 73. He earned first-team all-conference honors and placed fourth overall in the season standings.
Dom Lucido took second place in the conference tournament with an 18-hole round of 74. He earned first-team all-conference honors and placed third overall in the season standings.
Washington also had two junior varsity golfers, Kaleb Chase and Kellen McCormack, who earned medals at the GAC Central meet.
