Washington High School’s National Honor Society induction ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 5, at the CJB Theatre.

The guest speaker was Jennifer Giesike, Washington Area Chamber of Commerce President.

WHS Principal Dr. Eric Turner spoke during the event, giving the opening and closing remarks. Also on hand was School District of Washington Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Kephart.

National Honor Society officers were recognized and played a role in the ceremony; Nathan Oreskovic (President), Sydnee Winchester (Vice President), Sarah Stewart (Secretary), Tyler Vollmer (Treasurer), Jack Henderson (Historian) and Rachel Hensley (Student Council Representative).

Current National Honor Society members were recognized followed by the induction of the new members.
