The School District of Washington will host a Meet and Greet event for incoming superintendent Dr. Cassandra Suggs on Sunday, May 31, from 3-5 p.m. at Washington High School’s CJB Theatre.

Students, staff, families and members of the Washington community are invited to attend the open house-style event to meet and visit with Dr. Suggs as she prepares to begin her role leading the district.

Dr. Suggs was named the next superintendent of the School District of Washington earlier this year and will officially begin her new role on July 1. The Meet and Greet event will provide an opportunity for the community to connect with Dr. Suggs and welcome her back to the district.
