WHS Soccer Player Jake Prater Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week

Washington High School boys soccer player Jake Prater is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Prater, a senior forward, has been the Blue Jays’ starting center forward for the past three seasons and consistently makes an impact on the field. He scored two goals in Washington’s 8-0 home win over Elsberry on senior night.

Prater’s ability to create attacking opportunities, pressure opposing defenders, and disrupt play by dropping back and winning possession in the midfield makes him a constant threat.
