Washington High School football player Alec Pecka is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Pecka, a senior running back and defensive back, had a standout performance on both sides of the ball in Washington’s 56-34 victory at Liberty on Friday, October 4.

Pecka carried the ball 10 times for 101 yards and one touchdown and had two catches for 138 yards and a touchdown, including an 85-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter that secured the win for the Blue Jays. He also recorded four solo tackles and one assist on defense.
