Registration Open for Washington Soar Into STEM
We are excited to announce our second year of the Washington SOAR Into STEM aviation careers program aimed at providing high school students ages 14-18.
The Washington SOAR Into STEM program is a free, six-session, hands-on learning experiences that provides students with project-based learning, connections to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum, and a front-row seat into the world of aviation.
Participating students will work with experienced educators, mentors, volunteers, and professionals with aviation and STEM-related experiences to highlight areas such as flight & drone simulations, airplane engineering & mechanics, and air traffic control.
Students will also have the opportunity to experience a 30-minute discovery flight from Young Eagles EAA.
Washington SOAR Into STEM will occur on the following six dates and locations:
· Thursday, March 27, from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

· Saturday, March 29, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
o Washington Regional Airport 12958 Highway 47, Marthasville, MO 63357
· Thursday, April 3, from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

· Saturday, April 5, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.*Career Fair and Discovery Flights occur during the morning session
