Washington’s youth soccer community is celebrating the nomination of two athletes to the prestigious Region ID Camp this July.
Kloey O'Connell and Jack Garst, both students at Washington High School and representing Missouri Olympic Development soccer, have been selected to participate in the event taking place in Rockford, Ill. The camp serves as a pivotal step for players aspiring to join the Midwest Region Team and potentially compete at the national level in 2025.
Hosted by the USYS Olympic Development Program, the Region ID Camp gathers top-tier talent from across the Midwest, offering a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and vie for coveted spots on regional teams. O'Connell and Garst have demonstrated exceptional dedication and prowess on the field, impressing selectors with their technical proficiency, strategic insight, and sportsmanship.
